WORSHIP INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY AT CAUSEWAY COAST!!!

We are currently putting together our worship internship programme here in the Causeway Coast Vineyard for ’07 – ’08.

Beginning in September this year, I would like to invite you to apply if you are a worship leader looking for the chance to hone your skills further, along with others, in a fun, vibrant environment.

You will be part of a small team of interns - learning together, growing together, writing songs, playing in the bands, and assisting in the development of worship throughout the church.

We are interested in hearing from you if you are currently serving in a worship team (or have done so recently), have some experience of leading worship in a church context, can play an instrument (guitar, piano, or drums, etc…) to a competent level – and first and foremost have a heart that hungers after God and reaches out to others.

As part of your application, I would like to listen to a demo of you playing (this can be an mp3, or CD – or, if you’re really brave, a DVD ☺). I’d also like to ask you for a reference from your senior pastor or minister.

These positions are full time and self funding – there’s no cost for the actual internship, but you’ll need to cover your travel and living costs (we can give you an idea of how much that is likely to be - and all the details of where to fly to, how to find accommodation etc… when you apply)

Look forward to hearing from you!

Kathryn

This seems an awesome way to interact with other God-seeking people through music and devotion! Certainly something to consider I'd say! You might hear from me...

God bless,

Erik

A note to every young worship leader who reads this, who wants an internship... GO.

Kathryn is one of the most effective worship leaders of our generation - you won't be disappointed in either the experience, nor the life of the community she and her husband lead.

Greetings Kathryn!

My name is Robert Short. I'm the Worship and Fine Art coordinator for Open Arms Community Church in Newbridge, County Kildare.

I'm very blessed by all the work you're doing and promoting, both in worship and missions. Great work!

Open Arms Community Church is gearing up for July 8th-13th, when 100 young dancers, musicians, actors, song-writers and artists from all over Ireland gather for a week long don't-miss-it event—Worship Explosion 2007.

Our goal is to see these youth reach this nation for Christ, using their God-given skills and passions. Youth will be challenged by dynamic speakers, given the opportunity to hone their skills during hands-on workshops, and drawn into deeper fellowship with their Heavenly Father—all right here in their own nation.

We see Worship Explosion 2007 as an excellent opportunity for us, as a church, to promote awareness of internships and ministries like yours—those with a heart to see individuals encouraged, inspired, and equipped to glorified God in worship, media, and the arts. Therefore, please consider making a donation of promotional materials and/or gift items.

Donations might include coupons, books, music, clothing items, CDs, key chains, infomation pamphlets, etc. We are looking for 100 of any item sent in order to distribute them to all camp attendees, though a smaller quantity would also be very welcome.

For more information, please contact me by email at robertshort@openarms.ie, or by phoning 353 (0) 45 436990. Donations can be sent to the following address:

Again, this is a great opportunity to bless the youth, as well as to promote awareness of your ministry. Thank you for your consideration. And thanks for glorifying God with your gifts and passions, Kathryn.

You make a difference!

Sincerely,

Robert Short
